Alice Stuart and the Formerlys
appearing at the Lopez Islander Resort, June 20, SaturdayAlice Stuart is an icon of the Pacific NW Blues scene. She was one of the original members of Frank Zappa’s ‘Mothers of Invention’. Since returning to the Northwest, Alice has won numerous awards (Best Guitarist, Best Songwriter, Best Band, Best CD & Best Solo/Duo act) and has 9 albums to her credit. Her music is rooted in the blues, sometimes with traces of country and rock. Her band, The Formerlys, is comprised of veterans of the Seattle music scene.
